After beginning her professional modeling career in 2016, Elam moved to New York City, where she signed with a major modeling agency. While studying film and television at St. John’s University, Elam further honed her production skills by working on sets and producing content for other influencer clients. After appearing in her first film in 2021, Elam returned to school at Louisiana State University, where she completed an Interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree in French, Psychology, Communication Studies and Screen Arts.

I got my first polaroid camera when I was 5 years old. Taking photos has given me a space to think about how I see the physical world. Creating photographs is almost like a creative conversation for me. I ask the subject how it would like to be represented, and then I respond with what feels appropriate.
